Perfect for entertaining the family and cooking for friends. The kitchen door leads to rear terrace and there is a very convenient downstairs shower/cloakroom. The lounge offers a large and comfortable corner sofa to relax on whilst you catch up with some TV (with Freesat), or a favourite DVD, Wander through to the dining area with ample seating around the table and a gas fired 'wood burner' adding to the ambience.

Second bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers. Third and Fourth are also twin rooms both with wardrobes and drawers and the family bathroom can be found on this floor. On the top floor in the attic space is a fun snug room with sofa, TV and Playstation 3, an ideal den for the children to hang out.

The rear terrace is a stunning 'Mediterranean' styled space featuring sago palms, banana palms, tree ferns, grape vines, date palms and other exotic plant, with the gas BBQ and garden seating this secluded spot lends itself to sunny alfresco dining.

Home is situated in the heart of bustling Island Street, close to the town centre where a choice of artisan shops and eateries await you. Discover the beautiful sandy beaches in this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and try your hand at kayaking and paddle boarding. Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
