The property, which is comfortably furnished, very well equipped and has outstanding views of the main anchorage, estuary and surrounding hills, is only one minutes level walk from shops and restaurants and yet benefits from peace and seclusion.

This cottage is great with everything we needed. However as with our stay before we had 2 x water leaks. One from the shower room into the kitchen area and another into the lounge area which gushed through. I rang the emergency line number to no avail. I was told someone would ring me back but no one ever did. My son managed to stem both flows with some effort. He was concerned as he had two daughters there , one only 18 months old. We were advised last year that it would be sorted but obviously it has not been down or maybe something done but certainly not enough. It really is time that it was sorted in a professional manner.

A great house with some good additions/modifications made in recent years. It would benefit hugely from a better, larger fridge (currently not fit for purpose for a seven-person capacity), a BBQ, and a revamp of the terrace.

The house location is amazing, stunning views, walking to town and parking. However the house it dated, tired, and a bit scruffy. The front door is rotting, the bathrooms are dated and some are stained, the kitchen is tired with some doors not closing. The kitchen is also poorly equipped. It sleeps up to eight but there’s only chairs for six on the dining table and the glassware is limited and mismatched. I’m sad tbh as it’s put us off booking again. The location and view is the best thing about this property.
