We had a lovely holiday at Muffins. The house has wonderful views and is well equipped. The sitting room is very comfortable. We would recommend the house and would return but in the hope that a few things were sorted out. The top bathroom needs attention as for half the holiday we were unable to use the shower. We would have appreciated a response after reporting the issue. It looks as though the tumble dryer may not be in working order either! However we had a fun holiday and enjoy returning to Salcombe regularly!

Muffins suited us fine for the second year running. To start, the location is just a short walk up or down hill to town and absolutely fine for anyone mobile enough to walk. There is ample space for 6 adults and 2 kids in the property and we enjoyed our stay. That being said, some attention to detail is now needed to keep this property attractive to the high level of others in Salcombe. The refurbishment initially completed a number of years ago is now starting to show its age. The downstairs family shower tray has a leak which is seeping into the skirting board in this bathroom causing mould. The bath in the en-suite is slow draining and needs to be cleared of blockages. The Kitchen sink tap leaks at the fixing to the sink itself and just needs a new washer or tightening. Additionally there were no hangers in the master bedroom or upstairs bedrooms as standard. We look forward to staying again in the future and having these small details looked at in the near future!
