Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Enclosed, lawned garden with terrace, BBQ and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden (no handrail).. A charming, character cottage situated in an elevated position with roof top views to Snapes and South Pool. The property is comfortably furnished, well equipped and has a pretty, child friendly garden. There’s also a Juliet balcony but this is for decorative purposes only. There is off road parking for two cars and a local convenience store is a 2-minute walk away.

Loved our stay at Otters Cottage. Great location close to the town and beaches. The garden is a suntrap in the evening and very safe for dogs.It was our first time in Devon but definitely not the last.Pity that there was no welcome package with tea or coffee after a 5 1/2 hour journey but only a minor concern as there is a shop nearby

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday home in Salcombe. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the local shop, town, and harbour—yet peaceful with the most stunning views from the front of the house looking out over the harbour.The house itself is exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. The very thoughtful and generous owners have truly considered every detail to make it a perfect holiday home. From baking equipment and home cooking essentials to a wide selection of board games, puzzles, and books for cozy evenings or rainy days, it really does have it all.The garden is another highlight—secure and ideal for dogs, with a raised grassy area and beautiful lavender and rosemary bushes. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside reading, painting watercolours, and baking homemade treats during our stay.This home is spacious, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a large family. It is by far one of the best holiday homes I have ever stayed in, and I’m so grateful to both the owners and Cottages for providing such a clean, homely property. Thank you for sharing your “home from home” in such a special place.

We really enjoyed our stay . The garden and outdoor seating area were particularly nice . There is just about everything you could wish for kitchen accessory wise ( even to the extent of spices) . And it has a vital ‘two parking spaces’ .Other reviews were a critical of the WiFi and said the accommodation was in need of a refurb. TBF it is not luxurious, but you are not paying luxurious prices. You can find areas that are a bit tired but it’s clean and comfortable. The shower is a bit small. The WiFi signal was not great in the front bedroom but was adequate elsewhere. The booklet left by the owners has helpful tips on beaches, walks and restaurants( and details of Salcombe’s complex rubbish management policies!😂) Fair warning Salcombe is very hilly , Otter cottage is a short walk to the town centre but it’s a climb . That being said if you’re going to Salcombe, or anywhere around there you’re going need to be prepared for hills.
