Our stay at Seafern House was a great success. We were three couples with three small children. The house worked well for our purposes, each couple had their own bedroom with either ensuite or bathroom area with rooms for the children next to their parents. The downstairs area of kitchen, dining area and lounge was spacious and well laid out. Having the garden immediately outside was an enormous advantage. So I would happily give the house a rating of 5.

Seafern is a beautiful house with the most amazing views over the estuary. The house was well equipped and in great condition. It really felt like a home away from home. It was the perfect base for a multi generational family stay, with plenty of space for everyone. The location was great, though the climb back up was quite steep and certainly difficult for some. We enjoyed the workout after over-indulging in delicious food. We will definitely be back.
