14 Combehaven is a wonderful second floor apartment, situated within a short walk of the bustling town centre of Salcombe, in Devon. Step through to the open-plan interior, with a spacious sitting room, boasting two sofas and a coal gas effect fire for those cooler evenings. With a New England style kitchen, featuring modern wooden units and sleek black granite worktops with a lovely white tiling, and a range of appliances. The dining room is separated from the kitchen and has seating for four people. A wonderful place to enjoy a home cooked meal, or use as a quiet space. There is a balcony with furniture, so you can sit out and enjoy the magnificent views across the estuary. The property has two bedrooms: one king-size, with an en-suite shower room and one twin, ideal for small families or a group of friends, with a separate family bathroom, with a bath and shower over. This is a well-presented apartment, suitable for a family or couples, 14 Combehaven is a fantastic base for exploring Salcombe’s sandy beaches, walking the South West Coast Path, or trying watersports such as sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking. With bustling restaurants, upmarket shops and it's famous waterside.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
