The property's comfort and high-end furnishings are noted, though some guests mention challenges with the heating system and seating arrangements for larger groups. Access with luggage can be tricky due to steps.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. However, a few guests noted areas needing attention, such as the entrance alleyway and outside sweep-up, which slightly impacts the score.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views over the Salcombe estuary and proximity to the town and facilities. The peaceful, tranquil setting and access to the beach add to the appeal, making it a coveted spot for visitors.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property well-equipped, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some discomfort is reported due to issues with regulating the property's temperature and seating not accommodating all guests in the living area.

Everything was perfect, the location was amazing, we could have sat and looked at the view all day, every day. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to return next year. A week just wasn’t long enough.

Only down side was it was very hot and we could not work out how to adjust heating system. Would definitely love to go back.

We would love to return. Not recommended for anyone with walking disabilities as rather a lot of steps to negotiate with your luggage - we will keep coming while still fit enough! The only problem we had was with the very difficult to comprehend light switches- they drove us insane and we never managed to get the towel rails working! The electric blind decided not to go up on the last day so lost our last beautiful view of the estuary! So much for technology! It would have been useful to have had some right size bin bags for tilt up bin, a corkscrew for the wine ( luckily had champagne on first day before we could buy one) and a tray to take things to the balcony, plus eventually found the hidden cutlery drawer inside the crockery cupboard! Of course these were just minor problems and did not affect our wonderful stay. The rubbish cupboard outside was a problem as full of bluebottles and wasn’t emptied at all during our week and was full of previous weeks rubbish - does Salcombe not have weekly rubbish collections? It was very convenient to eat or have coffee at the Salcombe harbour hotel which is adjoining but the staircases joining were in a dire state with a rotting dead bird and old tissues, cobwebs and dark green stains everywhere- we asked at the hotel who was responsible for keeping this area clean and they didn’t seem to know even though it started on their outside deck area! The Salcombe Harbour hotel car park man was very attentive and helped us when we arrived - you have to leave your car keys with the hotel and they do move it occasionally but for most of the week it was in a very convenient position. We thoroughly recommend!
