About this property

This tiny little cottage, built in 1683, is snuggled right into the centre of the old village and is only a few minutes stroll from the village inn.

Just A Cottage is a beautiful, newly renovated Grade II listed thatched cottage, located in the heart of Thurlestone, only a short walk to the fabulous local beaches, village pub and excellent village shop.

Thought to date from the 17th century, this quintessential and bijou ‘chocolate box’ cottage offers stylish accommodation with a gorgeous sprinkling of luxury – Egyptian Linen sheets and fluffy Turkish cotton towels, large comfy sofa and contemporary interiors, accommodating up to 4 people. Whilst 4 adults have stayed at the cottage, we feel that the experience is much better if the number of adults is limited to 2.

Admired locally with much fondness, this iconic treasure of a cottage, which has even had books written about it, is a wonderful holiday destination with fantastic facilities on the doorstep. Whilst there is plenty to occupy people in the immediate area as there are many glorious places of interest within an easy drive of this popular and sought after location.
