Dawlish is a seaside resort a couple of miles north east of the town of Dawlish. Here, you will find a stretch of sand situated the mouth of the River Exe on the Devon coastline known as the English Riviera. Within the resort you will find a selection of shops and pubs, as well as a a golf course and a 55-acre nature reserve. The beach is Blue Flag and is backed by sand dunes and small lakes.

There was a lovely welcome awaiting in the kitchen of a vase of daffodils with tea, sugar, teapot and biscuits and a pint of milk in the fridge. Our dog was welcome, even doggy blankets were supplied.

Sykes cottage, was lovely, comfortable, large bath tub, which was one of the reasons we choose this cottage, l have health problems with my knees, so after a long day out and about exploring Devon, to relax in a hot bath was heaven! We will certainly return!!!!!
