Guests consistently mention the property’s cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable living spaces. The private parking is a valued bonus. While a few minor maintenance issues and a less comfortable mattress were noted, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests returning year after year and recommending the property for family getaways.

The majority of guests found the property to be very clean and well maintained, with only one mention of a dirty air fryer. Bathrooms and living areas are described as spotless.

The location is highly praised, being close to the sea, shops, pubs, and local attractions. The convenience of a private parking space in the village is frequently highlighted.

Guests generally found the house spacious and comfortable, with good beds and plenty of towels. One review mentioned a dip in the main double mattress, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The cottage is described as very well equipped, with a large kitchen, dining area, and plenty of utensils. Some minor issues were noted, such as a broken toilet seat, missing cafetiere plunger, and lack of recycling, but these did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Shoreside is a small development on the banks of the River Teign in Shaldon, one of Devon’s most scenic villages. This property has been built to a high specification so as to blend in with the local architecture. The riverside location makes this a superb place to enjoy a holiday.

Shaldon village has welcoming pubs that, along with the superb views across the estuary, serve some excellent meals as well as cafés to choose from. There is a good range of local shops including a bakery, general stores, a local butcher and a delicatessen.

A short climb to ’The Ness’, a tree topped cliff overlooking the mouth of the river will be rewarded by a magnificent view across to Teignmouth and out to sea. Shaldon Wildlife Trust, a small zoo dedicated to conservation, is also located here.

There is a small passenger ferry available which transports visitors on a scenic crossing from Shaldon beach over to Teignmouth. Whilst in Teignmouth take a scenic stroll along the banks of the River Teign or take in a little nostalgia on the seafront pier, which also provides stunning views along the coastline.

For visitors in search of some retail therapy, then Exeter is just a short drive away, catering for all your shopping demands. Whilst there, pay a visit to the impressive Exeter Cathedral or stroll along the picturesque canal, home to an array of antique shops and waterside cafés.

Beautiful spacious accommodation close to shops and local cafes and restaurant. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils etc.Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds to give a good night's sleep. Nice area for walking and enjoying the views. Not far from other local seaside towns so enjoyable days out.We would highly recommend this property for a visit and we may even venture to this one again.

Our initial impression wasn't as good as it could have been, as the heating was not on when we arrived and it was quite a cold day in January. However, once we got the heating going (boiler was set to hot water only, rather than heating and hot water), it was nice and warm. It is a good sized property with generally good equipment, apart from a cracked toilet seat (which then broke completely), a cafetiere with no plunger and a filthy air fryer! It's in a good location and has its own parking space, which is a bonus. We had a couple of very nice meals at The London Inn which is only a few minutes walk away and visited a couple of local attractions, Kent's Cavern & Babbacombe Model Village - we would highly recommend the latter.
