Explore the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; dip in the sea at Clovelly, 3.5 miles away, and visit the many beauty spots and attractions of this picturesque corner of the county.
Wander into the homely cottage and find yourselves in the bright kitchen/diner. Make a cup of tea to enjoy at the table with a slice of cake or a scone, and find you have everything you need to prepare hearty meals with the fresh ingredients you have bought on your shopping trips. Make your way into the lounge to light the wood burner on chilly evenings and settle down together in front of a good film on the Smart TV. At the end of each fun-filled day, climb the cottage-style stairs up to the double bedroom, which has a TV, or the single, with an extra pull-out single bed. Find the family bathroom also at this level. Bask in the summer sunshine out in the enclosed garden while the children and pups play close by. Look out for the many birds in the trees and shrubs and find plenty of off-street parking close by.
Keen walkers might like to venture 1.5 miles from the cottage to pick up the South West Coast Path, with its glorious views. Take the children to the Milky Way Adventure Park, 2.5 miles away, or the North Devon Wake Park, about the same distance. Plan day trips into Bideford, 9 miles away, to go shopping in the enticing independent shops, dine out in a choice of restaurants and visit the historic Pannier Market.
