Fairways Retreat is a fantastic holiday home , Joe the host kept in touch by text and left us a fabulous welcome hamper. The house is well placed for Westwood Ho! Biddeford ,Torrington and Barnstaple. The only fault which is very minor was that the downstairs bathroom tap works backwards so you only get hot water when you turn on the cold !!

We used this as a base to walk 2 days of the SW Coast Path. There are regular buses into Bideford, Barnstaple and Westward Ho. We had a really good stay. The house is comfortable and well equipped and pleasingly decorated with local pictures on the walls. Seriously comfortable beds! The owner was friendly and supportive and left a very thoughtful welcome box of goodies. We would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay at Fairway Retreat. Great size house that has all the things you need for a fantastic stay (apart from a hairdryer), which to be fair was our own fault as we didn’t notice that it wasn’t on the list of facilities. Joe the owner was friendly and proactive in ensuring we had all the information we needed and left a lovely welcome hamper.
