This delightful first-floor apartment, with views out towards the estuary at Appledore, makes an ideal destination for a holiday. Located just down the road from the popular coastal village of Instow, there is plenty to do and see during your stay. Instow is a pretty village with two shops, eateries and pubs, and all within easy walking distance. The wonderful beach with its lovely sand dunes is ideal for all ages and has its own appeal at most times of year. The town of Bideford is a short journey away, with a range of facilities, and a trip to Lundy Island can be organised from the quayside. Westward Ho! (3 miles) has a long stretch of sand and good surf. There is also an indoor swimming pool at Northam (2½ miles). The house is ideally located to explore either Exmoor to the east and its surrounding attractions, or to the west, there is the North Cornish/Devon coastline, with its excellent walking and hidden treasures, like Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Hartland Quay. The Big Sheep farm park, The Milky Way activity park, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor are other places of interest to visit. The Tarka Cycle Trail and footpath can be accessed from the village, which will ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Well equipped apartment and such a welcoming afternoon tea package left out. Road was a little noisy from the second bedroom but it didn’t cause any problems at nighttime. Even with the weather being wet it was the perfect base to explore North Devon and the Tarka trail close by was great for an early morning run. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely little flat. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things I would mention are it's a bit far out, certainly walking distance but as it was cold when we visited we felt it was a bit too far to walk of an evening. We also found the floors in the flat very very creaky, which im sure is just due to its age but worth noting. You can also hear the road very loudly overnight from the far bedroom which makes it hard to sleep. Other than those little things it was such a wonderful flat and the hosts left a very sweet welcome basket which was greatly appreciated!! I would definitely recommend 😊
