The Threshing Barn is probably the best holiday home we have ever found. It was perfect for a family member with limited mobility as it has a downstairs en-suite bedroom and only a couple of entry steps. It is also very dog friendly with a huge area for running. The Threshing barn was very well equipped and very clean, we were greeted with a lovely home made cake, fresh milk and eggs. Some comments have been made about the lack of WiFi there but that is due to it being so rural, however we had a fairly stable 4G signal that we were able to tether our tablet to for streaming purposes. Overall we had a wonderful week in the Threshing Barn.

Absolutely fabulous. If you want a peaceful place to stay this is it. The views are beautiful and it’s not that far from the seaside towns. A great find. Thought that having no internet would not be good but just chilling, relaxing and resetting ourselves. Brilliant

The Threshing Barn is just beautiful. Wonderfully decorated, great and very well equipped kitchen, and a view from the open plan living room to die for!We were incredibly lucky with the weather and were able to sit out on the patio in the morning and early evenings, which is quite something for late September.Could improvements be made? Yes; a washing machine would be nice as would having a gate on the communal garden to allow dogs to wander around offlead. Please note that the patio is dog-secure but ours will only do her business on grass…The location is fab too; easy access to some of our favourite, dog-friendly beaches such as Westward Ho!, etc.
