My wife, 13 year old daughter and her boyfriend, myself and our German Shepard Dog, spent 4 nights at the Lodge. Welcomed with lovely chocolate log/cake and a bottle of milk, which was lovely.A very cozy, clean and comfortable lodge. Excellent value for money and cannot fault anything. Really peaceful and tranquil area. There are 4 lakes within 20 yards of the lodge, which were excellent for waling our dog. The locals were very welcoming and friendly. We would go again.

We had a holiday over Christmas for the 1st time. The lodge was comfortable and warm and the kitchen was well equipped to cook a Christmas dinner. The telly was a decent size with Netflix etc which provided more choice for viewing. The grounds were good to exercise our dog before settling down for the evening. Local amenities were good to say the time of year we visited. Lovely and quiet in a rural place. Just what was needed.

A really cozy chalet amidst a number of other rentals. There are some nice large lakes on site which seemed to keep the fishing fraternity very happy. I just sat on the veranda listening to the rain and birds, including owls in the woods. The local village shop is very well stocked and the locals were very friendly.
