We were very happy with what we had and where we were. We had a power cut the first morning and the numbers issued for emergency contact could have been better explained, 2.5 hours later it was sorted but it did mess us up our plans that we had on the first day.Bit disappointed about the timings on the hot tub it would’ve been nice to jump in earlier in the morning. The double bedroom was missing a tv so we also used the twin room for chilling watching tv etc.Our main complaint would have to be about the mattresses - they are really not very good. As a lot of our time was spent using the beds we did suffer a bit with them. I know everyone will have a different view on firmness etc but these 3 mattresses are really bad.

Overall the accommodation was a very good size bedrooms and bathrooms very good . With the cleaning the bathrooms were good but there were some cobwebs in windows in bedrooms and the lounge area was dusty you could see where the ornaments etc had not been moved The outside area needs a bit of attention the hot tub cover was broken and looks rather shabby you could do with hand rail to go up steps to get in hot tub one of the patio doors was broken so you couldn't open it .

Unfortunately, the owners of the property were aware of a problem with the shower drains and had not rectified the issue when we arrived. We lived with a rather unpleasant drain smell in one the rooms coming from the ensuite shower, all week long. If the owners had acknowledged this issue, the review might have been better. The location was quiet, in the countryside with reasonable views, although a large wind-generator was only a few hundred feet away on the hill overlooking the property. The accommodation was very good with a number of luxury facilities.Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the property for the reasons provided.
