Enjoyed a wonderful Easter break at this very homely house nestled in beautiful gardens and woodland. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom / showers fantastic. House a little dated and a few little niggles like door handle to bathroom sticking and others a bit loose. we also did experience a swarm of honey bees one afternoon which were nested in the roof however they went as quickly as they came and this would not put me off rebooking this fab holiday home. So would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful relaxing break. Thank you to the owner for letting it out. Tennis court a bonus and great fun.

A perfect house for our family group with plenty of room for all of us, a well equipped kitchen, lots of bathrooms and fantastic grounds to explore. A unique house out of the way, but close to local towns and interesting attractions close by. Highly recommended. Good communication with the host in the run up to the holiday

Fantastic place to stay in lydford. The private road in is a little bumpy but once at the driveway it was great. Secluded woodland setting, we felt right at home. House was spotles, spacious and we loved the personal touches from the owner. We walked to the castle inn from the house - definitely bring walking boots(!) and enjoyed the pub too. Loads of parking, and plenty of space in the house. We would definitely stay again!
