Situated on the outskirts of the south west side of the Dartmoor National Park, this charming property promises is a great base to explore all that the county has to offer. The historic town of Tavistock is a mile from the barn, which boasts an array of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Tavistock being situated on the outskirts of the Dartmoor National Park, means you are not too far from some of the most breath-taking views, walks and cycle tracks Devon has to offer. Heading south you have the regional capital of Plymouth which offers an array of amenities, not to mention its wealth of day trips, the historic Hoe, the National Marine Aquarium, Theatre Royal and much more. Family attractions nearby are Pennywell Farm, Southwest Segway, Woodlands family theme park and The Dartmoor Mystery Treasure Trail.

The delightful barn conversion is situated within the owner’s grounds which is renowned for its beautiful scenery and set within their own trout fishery. On entering this split-level barn, you are greeted by the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, Air fryer, coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and you don’t even need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher to do the work for you. The lounge area which is accessed via a small set of stairs is a great space to sit back, relax and watch a movie or two on the Smart TV after a long day of exploring the local surroundings. Heading on up to the first floor there are two bedrooms, one super-king-size (which can be made up as a twin on request) with a TV and one double with a TV. You will also find the bathroom here with a shower and WC. Heading down to the lower ground floor, accessed by a flight of stairs, you have a further double bedroom with a TV, patio doors leading out onto the garden area and an en-suite shower and WC.

Venture outside to the small enclosed rear patio area, where you will find the hot tub, private BBQ and garden furniture. Fly fishing is available all year and children can try their hand at float fishing (available during the summer season). The resident donkeys are also a hit for all ages! A large communal BBQ area is also available for gatherings. There is off-road parking available for four cars with this property.

- The garden is enclosed with post and rail fencing, so may not be entirely dog proof for some dogs

- Parking for 4 cars all off road - 1 beside cottage and extra 3 only 50 yards from the property

- Fly fishing available all year on specific days of the week - please check with owner (charges apply)

- Children's float fishing available on certain days during the summer season – please enquire with the owner (charges apply)

- A 15 minute fly-fishing demonstration and 1 hour fly-fishing session including tackle hire is included for one guest (family and friends can watch) - this must be pre booked and is available on a Thursday or Saturday; there is a charge if a Trout is caught
