Lovely little traditional cottage. It’s in a great location on the outskirts of Swanage so very easy to get to. Lots of character with thick stonewalls, wooden carvings and beams. Clean with plenty of facilities. No musty or damp smells, despite it’s age, smells fresh! Comfortable beds. Pretty garden. Very nice paintings too. Parking outside the front door. We will be back!

The cottage could do with a curtain across the front door to reduce the draft coming in also a better lock on the back doorShower and bath are nice and powerful The rain shower head could do with a clean due to scale build up The sink lets it down though with a slow trickle at best The radiator next to the toilet is rather uncomfortable especially when hot !! Kitchen was adequate for a week Though it could do with a steamer for cooking veg in to free up the pans Hot water is really hot 👍🏻The local shop is better to buy logs from rather than the petrol station (cheaper) The pub around the corner is really nice but only open on weekends The train to Corfe Castle is really quite expensive £22 per adult for a return It is also a really nice little walk into the centre of swanage as it only took around 20mins Over all we really loved the stay and may come back again in the future
