Within touching distance of award-winning beaches, The Sloop is a stunning duplex apartment offering great accommodation for the whole family. Entering the property via the main door you are welcomed into the large open-plan living/dining room with comfy sofa, Smart TV and stunning views down the high street and across towards Swanage Bay. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and hob. The master bedroom can be found on the ground floor where you have access to the shared balcony, in here you have a kingsize bed and wet room with walk-in shower. Upstairs on the first floor there are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin. The main bathroom is also on the first floor offering both bath and double shower cubicle. This is a heritage property with stepped access into and around the premises. Outside there is a shared balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening meal catching the last of the summer sun.
Being located on the main high street of Swanage, parking is a premium, with off road parking offered in the garage this is perfect to park the car up and explore everything on the doorstep (please note the garage is suitable only for a small car). The beach is less than 100 yards away, as well as the vast array of shops, restaurants and bars, along with miles and miles of coastal walks along the famous Jurassic Coastline. Further afield you have the second largest natural harbour in the world, Poole Harbour, which offers various activities from water sports to exploring the many islands. Keep an eye out for the red squirrel on Brownsea Island. The chain ferry, which is worth the trip, is located at Studland which is approx. 3 miles from the property, here you can cross across to Sandbanks beach.

Thoroughly revommend The Sloop. We loved that it was so close to where family members lived. It was so clean and cosy. We only had hand luggage coming from.Spain so couldnt bring a hairdryer, one would be greatly appreciated at the cottage. Also the mirror on the downstairs bathroom door ! ?? Its place should be more conveniently placed over the basin.We hope to be back sometime in the future !

We had a comfortable stay in this well equipped cottage. Parking was challenging - the garage was too small for our car, but we were allowed to use the parking space of another (presumably empty) cottage. There was some street noise but mainly in the mornings when the bins were emptied and the chip shops refilled. There were more steps inside the property than I had realised - 2 down into the cottage them 2 back up to the 1st floor bedroom, plus the ones into the kitchen - and the wet room did not have grab handles so it was a little more challenging than we had planned for my 89 year old father. But wenloved its central location and the sea view.

Spent two nights (two couples): great location; apartment had everything we needed; sea view from lounge/dining room; comfy beds; good showers.Others have said garage only suits a small car so we booked long stay car park: JustPark Broad Road, Swanage Pier, High Street, Swanage, BH19 2AR. When we arrived at the apartment there was a welcome note saying we could use a parking space at the rear (not sure if this was a temporary arrangement so best to contact owner in advance to enquire)
