Welcome pack. Veranda with garden furniture and barbecue. 75-acre grounds (shared with other properties on-site). 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Location, location, location! This charming safari tent is nestled amongst an oak coppice with outstanding and far reaching countryside views in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Oak Apple Lodge is an ideal glamping stay for those looking for an ’away from it all’ break with complete privacy, peace and quiet. It is set on the owners 75-acre organic farm that attracts a stunning array of wildlife, from a wonderful herd of wild fallow deer, buzzards, butterflies and bees, to foxes and badgers. The safari tent is the perfect couple’s retreat, with a large double bed taking centre stage in this beautiful space, allowing you to draw back the canvas and fall asleep watching the night sky. The kitchen area is well equipped with an induction hob and electric wine cooler, and all the usual pots, pans, glasses and crockery. There is also a shower, low level toilet and basin in the tent. Outside, the large covered veranda is perfect for al fresco dining, enjoying a perfectly chilled drink or simply a place to relax, soak up the view or enjoy a good book!
Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous view & everything you could want for a relaxing week or weekend. Horses in the fields and deer are seen early in the morning. There's a fire pit too, which is perfect when the sun goes down with a few drinks. Would definitely go back. The hosts were lovely as well.

We stayed in tent 3 which has all the facilities needed (water, electric, shower and a small kitchen with an under the counter fridge freezer) and beautiful views over the countryside. The location is nice and quiet so makes for a perfect place to get away from the madness of daily life and back to nature. Lesley and Julian are perfect hosts and away available to help or provide information if needed, Julian has a great knowledge of the wildlife in the local area. The overall location is good because your not too far from the seaside and some nice towns and villages.
