The Old Engine House was really good value very comfortable and clean we were in a good position for getting out and about but the local pub wasn’t available to us which we were disappointed about they need to update their website opening hours and also their food options.we didn’t see the owners to thank them when we left even though they were our neighbours which was a shame. The weather was pretty awful but expected in December and it didn’t stop us having a good time

Easy to find in this quaint friendly setting. Hosts very helpful and chatty. Chard & Crewkerne within easy reach with their selection of shops & restaurants. The Royal Oak is a three minute walk which offers a good selection of food & drinks. Lyme Regis, West Bay, Sidmouth & Seaton are all within an hour by car. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The Old Engine House is very well equipped and offers good size comfortable accommodation throughout. Highly recommend.
