Wonderful hosts, a warm welcome and helpful with information about the house. Immaculately clean and lovely crisp, cotton bed linen. Pretty back garden with beautiful view. Good location for a walk to Seaton Beach and Golden Cap. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

When we arrived the owners were putting together a floor standing fan due to the weather being so hot. The house was immaculate and had everything you would need for a self-catering holiday. Sue had even gone to the trouble of buying bread, butter, milk, eggs and more for our arrival, all from the local farm shop. The bedrooms are lovely (one includes an array of toys and dressing up costumes for children) and the whole house is filled with quirky decor and artwork. The garden is very private, totally enclosed and has a covered patio, a wood building with a log burner and seating area and the far end is open with a seating area to watch the sunset over he hills. The house is a fabulous retreat and the owners really care about making your stay a happy one. Thanks Sue and Graham.

We had a lovely, relaxing week at Yew Tree Cottage. Sue and Graham were excellent hosts, with great communication before arrival and a warm welcome when we got there. The cottage was spotless, cozy and very well equipped, a real home from home.We are a mature couple with our dog, and our daughter and 9 month old grandson joined us for a couple of days. The travel cot and highchair provided were much appreciated, and the fully enclosed garden was perfect for both our grandson and dog.The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the garden views were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor covered area with the log fire was such a lovely space in the evenings. The thoughtful welcome treats were a really nice touch.Although the cottage is on a main road, it was quiet inside and peaceful in the back garden. The location is ideal for exploring the area, and we particularly enjoyed visiting Lyme Regis. We would happily stay again. Thanks Sue & Graham **
