It is a lovely property in a good location. Plenty to do in the area. The property needed decorating, which I am told will happen after our stay. I suggest more comfy seats are needed if the house were at full occupancy.

Lovely location and comfortable beds and furniture. The windows are of course very old and beautiful but also large and cold. There is no shelving in either bathroom so no where to put toiletries. The kitchen is spacious and all appliances work but there were no wooden or cooking spoons and no serving spoons. The plates and bowls are stylish but very chunky so hard to get into the dishwasher. The beer mats were dirty. Some of the blinds were broken. We only booked for two nights and ate out once but cooking was difficult without utensils. Puddletown is very nice and the little shop and pub were good with friendly staff.

The Old School Retreat was a lovely place to stay. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and had all the amenities needed. The village is lovely and just a short walk to the local pub from the accommodation.
