While some minor maintenance and cleanliness issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found the property to be clean, though some noted areas for improvement, particularly in the kitchen. The presence of sticky surfaces and a full recycle bin upon arrival were mentioned, but these instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The property's location is consistently praised for its convenience to local attractions like the New Forest and Salisbury, as well as its proximity to local amenities, including shops and pubs. The village setting is described as lovely and peaceful.

Guests are generally pleased with the comfort of the property, highlighting the warm and cosy atmosphere, as well as the comfortable beds. However, some guests suggested that additional bathrooms would enhance comfort for larger groups.

The property's facilities, especially the games room, are a highlight for many guests. The well-equipped kitchen and spacious living areas are also appreciated. Some guests mentioned issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and suggested that some furniture and appliances could be updated.

While guests have expressed satisfaction with the property and the owner's helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

About this property

Tucked away in the attractive South Wiltshire village of Whiteparish is this former Wesleyan chapel, which dates back to 1859 and is now a beautifully converted holiday cottage. The spacious open plan living area containing a kitchen, dining area and sitting area of this Whiteparish holiday cottage was created from the 1903 memorial school, retaining its wooden floors and row of children's coat pegs, whilst the body of the chapel features the original pulpit and combines not only a further sitting area but also offers a full size snooker table, table tennis, table football, keyboard and piano! A great social space for all the family to enjoy! Outside, there is a small rear patio area. Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Mottisfont and the New Forest national park only a short drive away. Enjoyed a few frames of snooker, although my game didn't improve to professional level in the weeks stay! Thanks Roger :-)

Bedrooms ok but another bathroom would have made our stay better. Lovely and unusual accommodation!

We had a good time but the property does need a good clean presentation not very good, towels left in a pile by the boiler not sure if they were clean or not. Apart from the cleanliness issues it is a great place for celebrations lots of space.
