The soft, gently shelving sandy beach - ideal for paddling, swimming, and building sandcastles - is just a short walk away and is wonderfully family friendly. Wander further and you’ll find Monmouth Beach, a wilder, more atmospheric stretch set beneath dramatic cliffs where fossil hunters and nature lovers can spend hours exploring the ancient geology of the Jurassic Coast. The historic Cobb Harbour, with its sweeping stone curve, colourful boats, and breathtaking views back across the shoreline, offers one of the most iconic seaside scenes in England. Strolling along the top of the Cobb or watching the activity below is a highlight of any visit.
