Guests generally enjoy Kelly Bray, praising its spaciousness, warmth, and proximity to town and beaches. The property's garden, views, and parking are appreciated, as is the welcome pack. Some guests mention issues with maintenance and cleanliness, but these are outweighed by the property's charm and location.
While many guests found the property to be clean and comfortable, there were a few reports of cleanliness issues such as mould and a dishwasher needing cleaning. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.
The location is highly praised for its quiet setting, pleasant walks, and easy access to Lyme Regis town centre and beaches. The views from the property are also frequently mentioned as a highlight.
Guests find the beds comfortable and appreciate the spaciousness of the property. However, some guests noted issues with heating and water temperature in certain rooms, which affects the overall comfort score.
The property is well-equipped with bathrooms, a Raeburn, and a tumble dryer. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as problematic showers, a temperamental dishwasher, and outdated TVs, which suggest room for improvement in this category.
The welcome pack is mentioned positively, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects the positive feedback without setting an expectation of gifts for future guests.

It was very comfortable and in a good location. Just a few points; We found the Rayburn a big challenge; our week away was beautifully warm and sunny, so the Rayburn being on low all the time made it extremely hot in the kitchen. When I tried to cook in the oven it needed to be turned up for a much longer time than indicated in the manual; we gave up in the end. It would have been great to have a highchair in the house, Many other less expensive places we have stayed in have provided one. A great week though.

The climbs up and down hills did us good! There was plenty of room in the house with a pleasant separate dining room and spacious living room, and the bedrooms were very comfortable, all with views of the bay. We found the porch useful for coats and boots etc. The kitchen, however, was a little cramped for the 6 of us (though we loved the dishwasher, Raeburn and tumble dryer!). The wonderful garden was much enjoyed by our 4 year old grandson. A couple of very small points: the lighting in the dining room was rather harsh and, secondly, we were confused by conflicting instructions about refuse/recycling collection. Otherwise: perfect, thank you! We loved Lyme Regis, had a fantastic time and hope to return one day.
