This is a perfectly located cottage and having parking is beyond a bonus in Lyme. We were on the high street in less than a minute and the beach is so close. It was very clean apart from the oven and oven trays, luckily I'd bought my own as this is often an overlooked area. I'd seen the reviews about the lounge but we were 2 couples meeting up and we don't watch TV. However we could have done with some jiggling around. We loved it and my reason for 4 stars on comfort is how incredibly cold it was at night particularly the bedroom we were in and the mattress was so soft that we disappeared into it!

King room needs a shower or at least an attachment that is not split ( did report). Lounge furniture is the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. The chairs are musty as well as uncomfortable, the sofa is clearly a sofa bed & as soon as you sit on it, it all slips forward. There is only seating for 5 although the sixth can sit on a dining room chair, which quite frankly is more comfortable. If you all want to watch Tv, because of the position you can’t all see. Would be better swapping sofa & tv position over ( would only need to run Ariel around skirting board). Kitchen is good, but kitchen utensils are cheap plastic and bend as soon as you use them. You need some extra knives & forks otherwise you are forever washing up to feed 6. You provide a washing machine but no airier. Position to town / beach is fabulous. However for a winter holiday you are wanting to be in the house for some or part of the evening & the comfort of the lounge lets it down.
