This is a lovely big 3 bedroom cottage with a small courtyard garden on a very narrow steep road. When we stayed it was very hot weather and the bathroom windows wouldn’t open, we informed the owner and was told ‘oh maybe they’re broken we’ll get them fixed asap which we thought meant during our stay, this didn’t happen and we got the impression that they’d been in that condition for a while so it was very hot and uncomfortable in there. Also the shower screen and mirror were quite dirty and quite a bit of dust around the house ie lamps and tops of wardrobes when we went to store luggage on top. Also had to scrub clean a garden seat! Apart from these few disappointing findings (which you don’t expect when you’re paying over a £1000.00 a week) it’s a nice property, personally we wouldn’t stay there again.

Pebbles was a comfortable, traditional, clean cottage. Well equipped. The owner was friendly and called after our arrival to make sure everything was in order. From the back bedroom we could hear and see the sea. We we're warned by the owner that the approach by car was narrow. Having an appointed parking space was useful. Lots of beautiful walks and a variety of cafes and restaurants near by. Easy access to other local places of interest. There's a good bus service into Weymouth.
