June 5th one week stayGood points: Location was brilliant. The view from the lounge and the 2 bedrooms was fantastic, we all enjoyed watching the bridge opening and the boats and harbour . Very large house with plenty of room for everybody. Reasonably clean, but hard floors could do with an extra wash,{I washed them myself while there.} Bad points: The windows, and front door were very dirty, so much so that i reached round and cleaned some of the windows myself, so we could enjoy the view, and the bedroom curtains were hard to close because of paint on rail. There are 3 stair gates provided, but these must be used with fitted wall cups which are not fitted, Also please be aware that the lounge leads into the kitchen via a large step, and open stairway to basement bedrooms, so with a little one we had to improvise by moving a bench across gap. Also the baking trays are very rusty and need replacing A lot of the above could be easily addressed, but all in all we enjoyed our stay, and got round any problems.

Bridge view is in a perfect location,. We never tired of watching the bridge raising and the boats coming and going. There was plenty of room for our extended family, the house is well equipped and comfortable. We were however very disappointed with the state of the overgrown and unmaintained garden which was unusable for our grandchildren.Despite this we all enjoyed our holiday.
