You can reach Portland Harbour and the untamed "Isle" of Portland, which is connected to Weymouth by the breathtaking Chesil Beach, after a little drive. Only 7 miles away is Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge" in Dorchester. You may also travel the beautiful coastline route and stop at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. For us the beds were on the low side, which made it difficult to get up, especially for my wife who has problems with her knees and back. We found the front door was difficult to open due to the size and shape of the knob/ handle. Definitely no good for anyone with joint problems. Despite this we enjoyed our stay!!

Easy, clear instructions for key collection and no problem parking on the street. Property, towels and bedding are clean and well cared for. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery, utensils, pots, pans and cleaning essentials. Really nice to have an outside seating area. Short walk down to Weymouth town centre (took a bit longer coming back as it's uphill!). Had a lovely break, would definitely recommend.
