Guests say

The Grain Store in Weymouth is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its comfort, well-stocked kitchen, and thoughtful touches such as a welcome hamper. The property's location in a charming village and its ample space are frequently mentioned, with guests expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found the property clean and welcoming, with clean linens and towels. However, there were concerns about dampness and cleanliness on the ground floor in one review, which lowers the score.

The property is well-positioned in a picturesque village, convenient for walks and local attractions. The village's charm and friendly residents are highlighted, although parking is on the road.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the house warm, with two sitting rooms for relaxation. Some minor issues with furniture comfort for older guests were noted.

The property is equipped with a well-stocked kitchen and provides ample towels and linens. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a non-functioning shower and loose fixtures.

While guests appreciated the welcome hamper and other kind gestures, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests, and thus the score is set to null.

We had a few issues with cleanliness, it was very dusty and lots of bits on the floors but we put this down to the age of the property and not poor cleaners. The house was a great size for our group and the extension to the property really adds so much to the space. We loved the kitchen area and the downstairs living room was perfect. We never used the upstairs living room but it was really warm in there and not anywhere else. We didn't mind too much as we brought heated electric blankets. Having most of the bedrooms on the top floor with access to the bathroom on the floor below was inconvenient and because we didn't use the second living room, that would have worked much better as a bedroom. Overall, we had a great stay and the location was perfect as we went to the beach every day! Thanks for hosting!

Property was very clean spacious and well equipped. We loved the two living rooms and appreciated the welcome box. The patio area was good for the children and dog to play in although opening straight onto the main road caused us some issues, but that was overcome by keeping the gate locked. The village was lovely and we loved the wishing well tea rooms.Thank you for a lovely stay.
