Itâs a beautiful, tranquil, and delightful place â the kind of setting that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at ease. The surroundings were peaceful, and the lodge itself had such a charming atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived and were contactable if we needed anything at all.

very well equipped. Beautiful garden surrounding it, a lovely dog who came to visit, but if you dont like dogs the owner will keep them in. Richard and Sue were helpful but didn't bother us while we were there, but they were on hand if we needed anything. They left us some milk, wine, crisps, biscuits and some cereal packs which we didn't use (except the milk). we brought everything with us that we would need. The folly is quirky, beautifully decorated and maintained. nothing at all wrong but everything to love. wish we had booked for a few more days. peaceful retreat for a weekend
