The Coach House in Tewkesbury is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its prime location close to local amenities and the river. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and the convenience of having two bathrooms. The well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of parking are also noted advantages. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned areas that could benefit from a deeper clean, particularly in the kitchen, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for being central and within easy reach of shops, pubs, and the river, making it an ideal base for exploring Tewkesbury and the Cotswolds. The convenience of the location contributes to a high score.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable bed and sofas. The presence of two bathrooms adds to the comfort level. The steep spiral staircase is noted, but does not significantly detract from the overall comfort.
The property is well-equipped for self-catering, with a washing machine and well-stocked kitchen. However, there are comments about minor maintenance issues such as out-of-date food items, a sticky floor, and some non-functioning gas burners, which suggest room for improvement.
While guests are generally pleased with the amenities provided, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored, and the score is set to null.

It was comfortable, clean & there was a lot of information leaflets on Tewksbury & the surrounding area. It was just perfect for the two of us. The fence to pull across behind the car was very useful as it meant we could let our little dog out without worrying about him wandering off. I filled up the bird feeder & the birds soon arrived which we could watch through the window. We enjoyed a very relaxing few days. Thank you.

Out of date food left in the larder. 2. The air fryer was left dirty. 3. Some light bulbs were not working. 4. There were no dishwasher tablets. 5. Only a little toilet paper to split between the 2 toilets. 6. 3 out of the 4 gas burners would not stay alight. 7. The floor downstairs was sticky and not very clean. 8.The bedroom balcony door would not open. 9. The step from the downstairs shower room is positively dangerous without some sort of warning strip. We both stumbled down at some point and badly jarred ourselves.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It is well located in the town close to the river but away from the busy town. A good central location for the Cotswolds and close to Gloucester and Cheltenham. We will be re booking to stay again. Thank you.
