This listed 17th-century wing of a farmhouse has been refurbished in January 2020 with installation of a new kitchen, bathroom suite and central heating with radiators. It is furnished to a very good standard and retains many period features including low beamed ceilings, open fireplace and traditional cottage stairs. Now a commercial livery yard, the farm is in a rural position at the end of a country lane near Breadstone village, close to Berkeley Castle. It provides an ideal base for a holiday visiting Slimbridge, the world famous Badminton Horse Trials, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Cheltenham racecourse, Gloucester and the Cotswolds. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles.

What a wonderful cottage it was, so cosy and warm. We went for the Christmas week and the only thing missing from our stay was a Christmas Tree. Hazel was so helpful and even put the heating on all day and night for us as it was so cold during our stay. Thank you so much for a lovely stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed and a great enclosed garden for our dogs.Ideal to have a kitchen table and also a large table to sit at in a different area for us to play games etc.Very peaceful and lovely location. Close enough to shops if needed.Hazel was very helpful.Will definitely be booking again!
