While a few minor issues such as cobwebs, pet hair, and firm beds were noted, the overall experience is highly positive, with guests keen to return and recommend the property to others.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. The location is absolutely beautiful: peaceful, surrounded by the countryside, with sheep grazing nearby, creating exactly the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. After spending the day exploring the Cotswolds, it was the perfect place to return to and unwind. The property is not located in a town, so having a car is essential. We would have appreciated having a traditional pub a little closer, especially for dinner, as the only nearby one stopped serving food at around 4 pm. However, we found that even in larger towns such as Dursley, many pubs stopped serving food surprisingly early (some at 4 pm, others at 5 pm). Since we were usually out exploring until late afternoon, we often missed the chance to enjoy a traditional pub dinner after a long day. This is, of course, not a reflection on the property itself, but simply something future guests may wish to keep in mind. The house is lovely, comfortable, very well maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Mark was an excellent host: friendly, attentive, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question. The only small suggestion I would make is to provide a traditional broom and dustpan. Although there is a vacuum cleaner, during a holiday it would have been more convenient to have a simple broom for quickly sweeping the floor.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, beautiful countryside, and an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds.
