Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a bright and welcoming atmosphere, with some breathtaking views across the water from the front and rear balconies. The Old Canoe Club boasts a thoughtfully landscaped garden featuring multiple seating areas and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. For those chilly nights, a cosy wood burner awaits, providing warmth and ambiance to make your stay truly memorable. The modern kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, and the dining area has a wonderful outlook across the water to the historic Royal William Yard. Three double bedrooms on the lower level offer a peaceful night’s sleep, with the option of folding beds to accommodate two children.

We had a great time at the Old Canoe Club. It is fitted out in modern style and is very comfortable. Very well equipped, with everything we needed. There are good views on 3 sides - Plymouth Sound, Mount Edgecumbe and the Royal William Yard - and the living space is on the 1st floor to take advantage of this. There is a pebble beach nearby with a tidal pool. The bay is great for swimming and paddle boarding. Plymouth is just a short bus ride away, with access to the Hoe and the Barbican just a short walk from there. Surrounding areas such as Dartmoor and Cornwall are easily accessible by car. I highly recommend this property
