The Cobbles in Glastonbury is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, homely feel, and thoughtful touches like welcome packs. Guests enjoyed the quiet location, proximity to local attractions, and the comfortable, well-equipped space. The enclosed garden and countryside peace were highlights, though some noted the steep stairs and distance to town.
Guests consistently noted the cottage's spotless condition and cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting this aspect positively. The property appears to be very well-maintained.
The location is generally praised for its quietness and proximity to local towns and attractions. However, a few guests mentioned the challenge of steps leading to the cottage and the distance from Glastonbury, slightly affecting the score.
The cottage is described as homely, cosy, and comfortable, with enough space for guests. The presence of a garden and patio adds to the comfort. However, some concerns about the steep stairs to one bedroom and limited window openings are noted.
Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, pool table, and garden. Maintenance issues were promptly addressed. The steep stairs and some design choices slightly impact the score.
Many reviews express gratitude for thoughtful touches like welcome packs with biscuits, milk, and dog treats. While these gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

We stayed at the cobbles to visit longleat lights. We had a lovely stay. Everything was great and contact with owner was easy. It suited us brilliantly as we were also having a Xmas weekend. I will be booking in the new year to go with my husband. Can't think of any downside at all. Plenty of equipment in kitchen to do our Xmas roast. My niece who is 23 and has learning problems thoughally enjoyed it along with my sister, daughter and myself. Thanks again
Nicola
