Mulberry Cottage is a traditional stone Somerset farm cottage, fully furnished and equipped to a high standard, and set within an 85-acre farm. It sleeps eight guests, with four bedrooms comprising three kingsize beds and one twin, it has its own enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue and there is ample parking and storage for bikes. There is a small indoor games area with a selection of games and a Playstation 3 with games.
Mulberry Cottage makes a great base for visiting Somerset; there are many attractions in the local area including Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and Caves and Glastonbury Abbey. The beautiful countryside nearby provides a wide range of outdoor activities such as cycling, riding, caving and walking. Longleat Safari Park, the superb shopping and theatres in Bath and Bristol, and the beaches at Weston-super-Mare or on the south coast are all about an hour’s drive. The cottage is conveniently located for events at the Bath and West showground, or if you prefer you can simply relax in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the wonderful sunsets and beautiful views, then take a walk through the village and have supper at the local pub. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

If we could have packed this cottage up and taken it home with us, we probably would have!The cottage was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and available when needed, while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy ourselves.It’s clear they put a lot of care into every detail, and it made all the difference. The location was peaceful and relaxing, making it far too easy to forget about real life for a while.A special mention goes to the farm cows, who provided both entertainment and a very authentic countryside experience. We quickly found ourselves checking in on them each day, they may have thought they were the hosts!Our only complaint? We had to leave! We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming getaway with great hosts.

One of the warmest welcomes we have received in a holiday rental and we've rented over 60 different houses. The accommodation is excellent, with large rooms and many thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen and bathroooms are well stocked, the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room for all to enjoy. Examples of the thoughfulness of the owners are the well-placed night lights and the generous welcome basket. Overall, a great place to stay that offers excellent value.
