There is excellent walking from the holiday property and on the Mendip Hills together with great bird watching locally and on the Somerset Levels. The area abounds with places of interest including beautiful Wells and its superb cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Longleat, Glastonbury Tor and the Georgian Heritage City of Bath. Great beaches at Weston-super-Mare. Shop and pub ½ mile.

I booked my stay at the threshing bar under not the dest circumstances. I stopped at the local pub for some directions and meet only the nicest local people who were very friendly and helpful. I meet my host on arrival, very friendly and helpful. My accommodation was better than expected, I would recommend staying here any tIme of the year. I only have good memories.

Lovely little cottage on the edge of the Mendips and nicely placed between the attractions of Wells, Cheddar and Wookey Hole. The cottage was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
