Situated on a working farm, this ’upside down’ detached barn backing onto the orchard, with fine views, adjacent to an aonb, is ideal for couples and small families. There is excellent walking from the holiday property and on the Mendip Hills together with great bird watching locally and on the Somerset Levels. The area abounds with places of interest including beautiful Wells and its superb cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Longleat, Glastonbury Tor and the Georgian Heritage City of Bath. Great beaches at Weston-super-Mare. Shop and pub ½ mile.

    Very helpful and friendly host. We arrived very late but it wasn't an isue. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and central to lots of walks and activities. Cottage was lovely inside and out. perfect few days away for me and my daughter.

    Lovely cottage in peaceful rural location, lovely walks from the cottage. Cottage was well equipped and even the kitchen knives were sharp! Owners were friendly and really helpful and welcoming.
