Guests appreciate the well-equipped accommodation, beautiful gardens, and friendly, helpful hosts. The property is ideal for exploring the Somerset and North Devon coasts, with plenty to see and do nearby. While some mention minor improvements such as clearer instructions for heating and a more powerful shower, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended choice for a relaxing countryside break.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as clean and well maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

The rural, peaceful location is frequently praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, though some note the lack of a village shop and limited phone signal.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as comfortable, cosy, and ideal for relaxation, with only minor suggestions for improvement such as air conditioning during heatwaves.

The property is described as well equipped, but some guests mention the absence of a freezer, a need for a more powerful shower, and a more substantial doormat. Instructions for underfloor heating could be clearer.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs and wine on arrival, and a friendly, welcoming host. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Great little cottage in a remote almost off grid location. Well appointed with everything we needed for the week - except aircon in this years nasty heat blasts ! Welcome from the host was lovely , chilled wine in the fridge and fresh eggs from the family hens , we even got a top up mid week - very generous . Be aware that WiFi and phone signals are generally patchy in this area (not the cottages fault ) be prepared to be offline for some of your stay - it’s great if you put the phone down and enjoy the Quantocks !!

Piper's Stable was a wonderful find! It was spacious, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Set in lovely countryside and being able to explore the owners large garden was an added bonus. Our hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and very informative about places of interest to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider another visit there again.

Great value for money, a fantastic range of amenities provided by a lovely owner. The property is probably best suited for 1 in my opinion. You get a great living space, a lovely garden and a very safe area to live in. Note that phone signal at the property is next to nothing as its very rural. Overall I was very impressed
