Walks along the meandering River Parrett, excursions of the Westonzoyland Pumping Station Museum, and explorations of the surrounding rspb area of Greylake and the lovely Millenium Wood are all available in the village. The George Inn, a pleasant pub where you can enjoy traditional, hearty meals, and the adjoining village shop where you can stock up on basics, are both good options for dining.

* Tap in downstairs bathroom was hanging off, I tightened this up. * Bedroom Drawer knobs where very loose, I tightened these up. * Shower in downstairs bathroom not very powerful. * Wi-fi a bit hit and miss Could do with a few more toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets, there were only 2 tablets to last 7 days, this was already mentioned in the guest book by other guests. There was no kitchen roll, this would be very handy to mop up spills etc. Apart from the noisy road and those few minor niggles, this is a wonderful place to stay.

The layout allowed lots of flexibility for our multigenerational party and was very comfortable. It is a home from home and there are lots of easy to reach activities/trips to choose from or you can just just relax in the garden. Highly recommended.
