Magnolia Barn is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location in Somerset. Guests appreciate the well-stocked facilities, the dog-friendly paddock, and the proximity to local attractions. The cosy atmosphere and friendly owners contribute to a pleasant stay, with some minor suggestions for improvements.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests noting it as one of the cleanest places they've stayed. A few minor comments about kitchenware cleanliness slightly affect the score.
The location is frequently described as excellent, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The village setting and nearby pubs add to the appeal, although one mention of a tricky driveway exit slightly impacts the score.
Comfort is a strong point, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy living space. Some guests felt the living room size and bedroom storage could be improved, which is reflected in the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good bathroom facilities. However, comments about the need for additional kitchen equipment and minor maintenance issues lead to a slightly lower score.
While guests are pleased with the overall experience, there is insufficient information regarding thoughtful touches such as gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Disappointed upon arrival but a lovely cottage. The settee and chair dated and uncomfortable similar problen with the beds...The en suite was a nightmare to have a shower as minimal space to access the bath. Other issues just want be booking again......

Some nice touches with milk in the fridge & tea/coffee available when we arrived. Plenty of information about the property & surroundings with lots of âto doâ leaflets to help us plan our days. The field to exercise the dog was a godsend as was the information about the walking routes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

The barn is absolutely beautiful and the paddock very handy to walk our dog. The beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed for our stay. The barn is very handy for visiting the beaches at Burnham on Sea & Weston Super Mare. Wedmore & Cheddar are not too away far either. We found the decor tired in some parts of the barn. There was no broom to sweep the kitchen floor and the vacuum was full. The smell coming from it wasn't very nice either. The sofa had visible marks on it. The shower in the main bathroom could do with a deep clean. The shower head was dirty. Just needs a little tlc.
