Hire a bike and spend time admiring the scenery from the saddle, plus your Watchfield cottage is within easy reach of Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor and the lovely cathedral and Bishop's Palace at Wells. Wow wow wow! From the minute we pulled up to the lovely warm welcome and to leaving with a fond farewell from both John and Linda, we had an amazing stay. You can't ask for anything more from the Chalet, it's like a home from home, everything you need is there and more, even right down to beach towels for the beach. The welcome gifts are a lovely touch and very welcoming after a long journey. The cleanliness of the chalet is second to none, it was spotless. The bed was lovely and comfy. The extensive collection of books, dvds and games in the barn are a fantastic bonus. We enjoyed a game or 2 of darts in there aswell. The garden area is lovely for relaxing in at night, and the garden swing is a great bonus to relax in. We would live there permanently if we could. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely be going back next year. Paul & Janine.
