Great little cottage, warm clean and well fitted out. The Christmas decorations and bottle of bubbly with mince pies were a nice touch. If I had a reservation, it would be the bed, which was hard and uncomfortable, making a good nights sleep problematic. Otherwise we were very happy.

I was staying here for a long weekend because my son & fiancée are in the adjacent barn conversion for several weeks while their house purchase finalises. I came to visit them. I found Overshot to be extremely clean, comfortable and cozy as well as being very convenient for my family. I didn’t really use anything in the kitchen but the fridge and kettle but it looked to be well equipped. I found the bed firm but comfortable- I prefer a firm bed. I’m sure the cottage would be lovely in the summer with the large doors open but even in November it captured every bit of available sunshine! The outlook was very pretty too. I did not meet my hosts which was a shame but I had no real need of them as everything was spot on! Thank you for a trouble free and pleasant stay.
