Guests say

Bee Cottage receives glowing praise for its spotless cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and peaceful yet convenient location. Guests consistently highlight the comfort of the cottage, the friendly but unobtrusive hosts, and the thoughtful touches throughout. The property is ideal for exploring Somerset and nearby attractions, with many guests eager to return. Minor points raised include a slippery shower floor, a shortage of teaspoons, and one mention of an uncomfortable mattress, but these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience.

Cleanliness is repeatedly described as 'spotless', 'immaculate', and '100% clean', with fresh-smelling bedding and towels. Only one minor mention of a slippery shower floor was noted, but overall, guests are extremely satisfied.

The cottage is praised for its quiet, peaceful setting while being conveniently located for exploring Somerset, National Trust properties, and local attractions. Guests appreciate the balance of tranquillity and accessibility.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with cosy furnishings, comfortable beds, and a relaxing atmosphere. One guest mentioned a mattress that could be improved, but this was an isolated comment.

Facilities are highly rated, with a well-equipped kitchen, modern amenities, log burner, and good Wi-Fi. Minor suggestions include more teaspoons, wine glasses, and a dishwasher, but these are exceptions rather than the rule.

Many guests mention welcome gifts such as hampers, cider, and chocolates, as well as friendly, helpful hosts. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Would thoroughly recommend staying at Bee Cottage. The owners are very nice and are always helpful if you need any help with places to visit. If you are interested in houses and gardens there are plenty that are relatively nearby. Also would recommend a day at the Fleet Air Arm Museum and The Haynes automobile museum. As we are from the north of England we took the owners advice and took the M5 from close to Bridgewater and had a very pleasant drive back home. The local pub is very handy and does great food and has a good selection of Ales and Ciders to try.

Our second stay at Bee Cottage, it is a very handy location to visit local attractions. The cottage is comfortable and has plenty of amenities, being on one level means no awkward climbing of stairs.
