We echo the comments made by the previous holiday maker ( Kevin Brown ) in that the fridge was very small with a tiny freezer box and the accommodation was not entirely dog friendly. House rules made it clear that dog toiletries had to be made away from the property in the busy lane which served as an access road. The uncarpeted stairway between the two floors was steep with a partial rope bannister which could be difficult for some to negotiate. This is a lovely annexe and location for couples wanting a weekend break.

The cottage itself had magnificent views, was very well resourced (with the exception of the fridge which was very small with a tiny freezer box) and as clean as a new pin. The welcome pack was well received.and well above average. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the settee. Our major concern was that although great provision was included for our dog it was NOT dog friendly more dog tolerant. We were greeted with the dog rules and three written messages inside the cottage.. The shared rear garden was not to be used for toilet and dogs must be kept away from the cats and kept on a lead. The walk at night down an unlit and unpaved road to pot our dog was dangerous to say the least. To sum up, if you have a dog avoid Blue Inkle otherwise book it now before it goes.
