Gorgeous holiday home! Mix of traditional features and modern decor. Great village to explore from. Bishops Lydeard is a quaint village, lovely tea room, pub, paper shop and a very handy well stocked coop. Pete's place is perfect if you have dogs. We took Max, our Lab, and he loved the big safe and secure garden. We loved sitting on the patio each evening before heading out for food at some amazing local pub that super dog friendly.Karen, the host, was very helpful and on hand for any questions we had. Karen provides everything you could think of. Even waffle gowns in each bedroom for every guest. Which came in handy for the hot tub. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous home furnishings, a truly fabulous holiday home.

We had the most relaxing long weekend at Pete`s Place. The cottage and gardens were charming.. particularly the large hot tub. Everything needed for our comfort was available and local shops and pubs were within walking distance. Karen was so helpful giving us lots of useful local information before our arrival and was on hand should we have needed her during our stay. We enjoyed Pete`s Place so much we have already booked a longer stay there next August !

5+ stay you will not be disappointed- we visited last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was just perfect and Karen the host is very welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond. We decided to return for another two weeks and was a little apprehensive as a lot can change In a year ! Not Pete’s place we found some changes which are fabulous but the same 5+ stars remain the same - fantastic property and host- Karen you deserve this ! Well done - The ‘Turner’s **
