Harewood Barn is highly praised for its immaculate cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and thoughtful touches by the host, Louise. Guests enjoyed the peaceful location, ideal for wildlife watching and walks, though some noted its remoteness. The property is dog-friendly, with a secure garden and provisions for pets. The barn's facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and efficient log burner, contribute to a home-from-home experience, despite some comments on the lack of upstairs toilet and the need for car travel to access local amenities.
Reviewers consistently mention the property's immaculate and clean condition, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to wildlife and walks, though its remoteness and distance from amenities are noted.
Guests find the barn very comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and underfloor heating, although there are some remarks about the sofas being a bit tired.
The barn is well-equipped with a good kitchen, Wi-Fi, and log burner, but some guests missed having a toilet upstairs and direct access to Wimbleball Lake.
Louise's thoughtfulness is highlighted, especially with festive decorations and carpet offcuts for dogs. While gifts like fresh eggs are mentioned, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

6 of us stayed over Christmas and for one of our friends 'big' birthday and wow....! Louise had decorated the barn beautifully and thought of everything-we had absolutely all we needed for cooking a Christmas dinner, including table decorations! The barn was immaculate and clean - a real home from home. Everything was like the pictures show. One of our elderly dogs struggled on the wooden floor, so Louise went out and got some carpet off cuts for us. Now, that is really going above and beyond! (They are rolled up in the heated, yes heated shed, should you need them too!). The location is perfect for a quiet get away and plenty of wildlife to see. There is nothing on the doorstep so you do have to drive to get anywhere, but we knew that before and were happy to do so. Would we recommend? Absolutely!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Harewood Barn. It was very clean and had everything that you might need. The beds were very comfortable. Very close to Wimbleball Lake and we also visited Dulverton and Dunster. Louise responded very quickly, great directions and was very welcoming. 10/10
