Beachside Cottage, Minehead (Somerset) is situated only a few seconds walk to the beach in this lovely seaside town and offers luxury accommodation for 6 guests. Recently renovated and newly furnished, it is well-suited for family holidays and within easy reach of shops, restaurants and the beach.
Accommodation
The kitchen is well-equipped with all new appliances, accessories, crockery, cutlery and glasses. The equipment includes a Bosch electric oven, Bosch ceramic hob, Bosch dishwasher, Samsung Fridge Freezer, John Lewis Washing Machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. In additon there is a large breakfast bar with 3 stools.
The large dining room has a contemporary Made.com dining table that seats 6 comfortably. Also in this room is a matching Made.com sideboard with a selection of board games, puzzles and books inside.
The spacious lounge has 2 large comfortable sofas to relax in, there is also a separate seating area with 2 cosy armchairs perfect to read a book or play a game of cards. There are double french patio doors opening on to the private walled garden. The large flatscreen TV has freeview and Netflix housed on a low shelving unit containing books and games.
Wi-Fi is available at no extra cost.
The bright master bedroom benefits from dual aspect windows and has a super king-sized bed and is perfect for a honeymoon suite or brides’ room. It has a dressing table, double wardrobe and 2 bedside tables.
There is a second bedroom with a double size bed, chest of drawers and double wardrobe with an en-suite bathroom comprising of bath with shower over, toilet, and hand-basin.
The third bedroom is bright and cheery and has twin beds and chest of drawers.
The family bathroom has a large quadrant shower, toilet and hand basin.
Further information about how to use the appliances will be provided in the cottage in case you need them.
There is an under stairs cupboard off the dining room which is where you will find an iron and ironing board and vacuum cleaner etc.
Access the utility room from the garden which contains a laundry area with tumble dryer, clothes airer and clothes basket . There is also a games room with a full size table tennis table and a dartboard.
Wifi, electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips.

What a fantastic house in the best location to enjoy the town of Minehead and glorious Exmoor. It is situated in a private courtyard with parking for 2 cars yet you walk out of the house, through a private gate and straight onto the seafront. It is situated in a private courtyard with parking for 2 cars yet you walk out of the house, through a private gate and straight onto the seafront. The West Somerset Steam Railway is on your right and the beach on your left. A great place for railway enthusiasts to stay. The House itself has everything you need for a great stay. It’s exceptionally clean and well presented. Comfortable and well equipped. Extremely dog friendly. Children are well catered for with a cupboard full of games and books and a games room with full size table tennis table and lots of buckets and spades. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with quality bed linen and towels. Gary and Tracy the owners make you feel extremely welcome. I would highly recommend Beachside Cottage to everyone as it would suit all age groups, dog owners, ramblers especially people walking the South West Coastal Path. The Exmoor Coastal Bus stops next to the railway station. Minehead has some really good shops, restaurants and pubs and on your first night when you’ve had a long drive you can’t beat the fish and chip shop next to the station. We will definitely be back.

Perfect home in a perfect location. We would highly recommended, we couldn't fault a single thing. Very clean, beautifully furnished, light and bright. Lounge was very comfortable and kitchen and the dining room spacious. Showers were great and all the kitchen appliances worked well and there were p.... Perfect home in a perfect location. Showers were great and all the kitchen appliances worked well and there were plenty of instructions left in the book. The beds were comfy and the garden was well maintained and peaceful. The games room and utility was a super place for us to play table tennis and darts with the kids. The owners were very helpful and communication was great. We were out most of the days as we were lucky enough to have lovely weather and the cottage is so close to everywhere. We went on the steam train (which is next door) and visited Dunster castle, Watchet, Tropiquaria zoo which is super and Lynmouth and also Butlins for the day all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. But it was lovely to come back to such a fantastic holiday home for the evening. We feel lucky we had the best cottage in Minehead to stay in! Thank you for having us, Jon and family.

The location of this lovely property is brilliant. 2 minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants, train station and open top bus. The open top bus trip to Linton & Lynmouth is an absolute must for any guests. We had everything we needed and more. The garden and bbq is a lovely bonus. The beds we....
